So she had these sandals, she wore them practically all summer, and they gave her the funniest looking tan line; but they were just so comfortable. She was used to them, they were easy to put on and easy to walk in; but she knew she had to stop wearing them soon because Autumn was coming and the cute heels she wanted to wear with her Autumn clothes wouldn’t look good with her tan lines. Isn’t that the problem with people sometimes, they get too comfortable? But, being too comfortable comes with a price. Not only was she going through this dilemma with her shoes, but with ‘her boys’ too. She had the very comfortable sandals, ones she can wear almost anytime, and she had the very cute heels, absolutely stunning accessories; which one to choose? She knew if she didn’t stop wearing her sandals anytime soon, her tan lines would show when she wore heels. She could keep wearing the sandals and her tan line can get more noticeable, or she can stop wearing them and the tan line will slowly go away; which one was it? She still has to decide, but she knows that even though the sandals are comfortable, she can’t keep wearing them if she wants to wear her new heels. If you don’t understand this by now, think of it this way: The comfortable sandals are her old love and the new cute heels are her new love; and just like any new pair of heels, they take some time to get used to. Leave the comfort or find it all over again?
